Virginia Keeler-Wolf, MA, MFT (MFC # 32311)

Virginia Keeler-Wolf is a licensed marriage and family therapist, a certified EMDR practitioner, and an attachment and adoption specialist with extensive training and experience. She specializes in working with families to strengthen attachments, to integrate and recover from trauma and neglect, to develop effective emotional regulation and to create healthier and more satisfying family relationships.

Virginia’s work is informed by her personal experience as an adopted person. She has been working with foster and adoptive families and individuals, as well as couple’s struggling with infertility for over 28 years. In her clinical work, Virginia combines dyadic developmental therapy with family narrative therapy and EMDR to create an individualized treatment plan for each client.

Virginia co-developed the Family Attachment and Adoption Center Eastbay with Laura Soble, MFT. to provide a wide range of services and clinicians who work collaboratively in one location to meet the diverse needs of families we serve. Virginia and Laura have designed a series of effective and innovative group therapy programs to serve both young people and adults.

In her practice Virginia enjoys working with families of all kinds, as well as children, adolescents, adults and couples struggling with emotional dysregulation, adoption, attachment, trauma, developmental and learning challenges. She provides training for schools, agencies and professionals on a wide variety of adoption, attachment and parenting topics.


Virginia was the former director of PACER, Post Adoption Center for Education and Research, and is an active member of ATTACH, RESOLVE and the American Adoption Congress.
